This is how Science Olympics works:
- In advance, the schools are sent a predetermined schedule of multiple science and engineering events that will be run at the Science Olympics.
- Each school chooses one or more teams of students that will be representing their school at the Science Olympics.
- Teams choose, in advance the activities that they are interested in competing in.
- Teams train and prepare for the competition.
- At the Science Olympics event – Engineering, Technology and Science competitions will be taking place in various locations, according to the schedule.
- Each team’s performance will be assessed by a group of judges and teams will be given points.
- At the end of the Science Olympics event, the winning teams are identified and awarded.
