Science Olympics is a scalable, flexible program geared towards students from grades 7 to 12. Science Olympics can be implemented as a competition between multiple schools within a region, within a single school or as an interactive activity within a classroom. A typical Science Olympics can run for half of the day or a whole day depending on the size of the event.

Science Olympics is an event that aims to:

• Inspire interest and foster inquisition in science, engineering and technology
• Hone problem solving skills, creative and critical thinking processes
• Promote team work and collaboration
• Improve scientific literacy
• Highlight the importance of science, engineering and technology education
• Encourage community involvement
• Provide interactive and hands-on learning experience
